Fire at Oakhurst Manor cancels upcoming events at Estate of Mind

No one injured; cause and scope of damages still under investigation

Heartbreaking news: Due to a fire early this morning at Oakhurst Manor, all events on Friday March 1st are cancelled.

We are relieved to report that all residents & guests who were inside the manor exited safely and there are no known injuries at the time of posting. The cause of the fire and scope of the damage remain to be determined.

Please be respectful of the volunteers who manage our email and social media accounts—please refrain from writing us with your condolences so that our inboxes remain uncluttered for urgent messages during this critical time.

We are a DIY artist community who seek comfort and levity in eachother through times of undeniable disaster. Although we may not yet know the path forward, we meanwhile offer this meme of resigned acceptance in the face of significant tragedy.
